BarangayConnect
Overview
BarangayConnect is an Android application built to digitize barangay services in the Philippines. It lets residents request and track documents, book barangay facilities, and stay updated on announcements, all from their phone instead of lining up at the barangay hall. It targets three user groups: residents, barangay officials, and LGUs, and differentiates itself from existing systems by focusing on the resident experience rather than just back-office administration.

The Application Process
A Simple, Four-Step Process
The user selects the desired document, completes the required form, verifies their identity, and proceeds with payment. Upon submission, the application is queued for review.
For Barangay Officials
A Complete View of Every Application
Officials access a calendar-organized dashboard displaying pending applications by filing date. Each entry presents the applicant's information, submitted documents, and payment details for review. Officials may approve or decline a request, with declined applications requiring a selected reason before the applicant is notified.
